The end of an era for Gingerbread and Honeycomb on Motorola devices is near, as the company announced the schedule for Ice Cream Sandwich updates, within 2012. All popular Motorola models, like Droid and Atrix, as well as Xoom, will be updated to Android 4.0. The updates will be released during the 2nd quarter for some devices, and during the 3rd quarter for others, so that all users can have ICS until the end of 2012. The list of devices to update is rather long, so gather every scrap of patience and start reading, on the official website of Motorola.
