Until today, most reviewers had the chance to bench the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC (GT-19505) version of the Samsung Galaxy S4. SamMobile was lucky enough to present us the performance of the Galaxy S4 with the Exypnos 5 Octa (GT-I95500), on two famous benchmarks.
We should note that the device used in this test by SamMobile features a 1.8GHz processor, instead of the quad Cortex-A15 cores of 1.6GHz and the quad Cortex-A7 of 1.2GHz that Samsung had initially announced.
This means that Samsung has decided to increase the processor power by 200MHz. As you can see the Exypnos 5 Octa version of the Galaxy S4 has by far a better performance than the Snapdragon 600 version.
