Sony was awarded the Guinness world record for the worlds’ largest animated mobile phone mosaic, that was displayed during Mobile World Congress 2013 at Barcelona Spain. The company chose the MWC 2013 to create there a mosaic comprising of (not one or two) 196 Sony Xperia ZL smartphones, all of them measuring 6 feet 2 inches by 3 feet 4 inches!
As you can see from the photo below, the electronic mosaic was arranged in a 14 x 14 grid that was always on, and all the smartphones (all 196 of them) were synced to work and glow as one large display.
Interesting idea, worthy of a Guinness World record, don’t you think?
