It’s common practice for manufacturers to “dress up” an operating system with their own skins, with the excuse of making it easier for users, but essentially trying to make their products stand out of the competition. So did ZTE get into this game, by presenting their own solution.
Specifically, it’s Kanzi, a three-dimensional user interface, developed by Rightware, and outfitted to Ice Cream Sandwich. Kanzi will be integrated into ZTE’s future devices under the sole condition that they run on Android 4.0. Note that Huawei also offers a similar solution for their own devices.
