Financial results for Q4 2011 announced by Apple, showed that iPhone 4S skyrocketed the company earnings.

So, Apple had her most fruitful quarter and the company announced that it sold 37.04 million devices which is, indeed an impressive number.

Luke Wroblewski, designer and author of Mobile First tweeted yesterday that “iPhone devices sold every day (420,000) are more than the babies born in the world (300,000)”

Taking a closer look on official statistics though, that those by Wroblewski, the number of iPhone devices being sold every day are 377.9 thousand and the number is still larger than the number of babies being born all over the world which is officially estimated at 371 thousand.

This statistic may be absolutely useless, yet, it is still very impressive.
