For the last few days, in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, the expression “let’s get a bite at the buffet” got a totally different meaning. The Bacchanal buffet costs 17 million dollars and is an extravaganza of tasty offerings.
It serves 500 different dishes on a daily basis, with almost anything one can imagine, from lobsters and pizza napolitana, to sushi and pancakes. Most of the food is prepared in sight of the clients, in this collection of nine mini restaurants, that cover an area of 2.500 square meters, that is almost the size of a football field.
This buffet can serve 600 people, something taken care of by 180 chefs and countless personnel on stand-by, in order to satisfy every single client. Prices start at 20 dollars for a breakfast buffet and can get up to 40 dollars for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Las Vegas, anyone?
