We had already written about the upcoming movie by Nightwish, a finnish symphonic metal band. Imaginaerum, as it’s called, and has the same name as their latest album, follows the dreams of a dying poet and composer, who suffers from dementia. So, his memories are all mixed up, and he sees himself as still being 10 years old. In this mix-up, memories of his friends and the music he had composed, also “participate”.
So, the result is a unique combination of fantasy and surrealism. The movie’s 1-minute teaser was released back in April, and now the time has come for a full trailer of 2 minutes and 20 seconds. The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on November 23rd, in which singer Anette Olzon will also play, who in the meantime recently left the band. Enjoy the relatively short but definitely “fulfilling” trailer!
