A highly “emotional moment” among a couple has been an “internet sensation” on Youtube the last few days. It’s about two kids, who met in an online “game lobby” and finally met up close, after five years of almost exclusively online communication.
Halo 3 fans, both of them, met through this videogame five years ago and immediately “bonded” as online friends. Two years ago in fact, they became a couple, while they managed to meet up close in March. In the video that has been on Youtube since then -but only made popular in the last few days- we can see the moment they meet, which is… totally emotional.
The girl lives in Texas, while her -“fiancee now”- in Tennessee, with their contact so far limited to Skype, Myspace or Facebook. The two of them say they have already scheduled their next meeting in August, while they may even gain more publicity if they accept the proposal of an American producer to take their story to a “national news network”.
However, if they are thinking of having a wedding inspired by the Halo videogame, they should keep in mind that something similar has already been done by a couple in Florida, in 2009.
